About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for the Quality and Engineering Management program in the Department of Engineering Technology. This part‑time position supports growing student enrollment for the 2026‑2027 academic year, delivering courses both on‑campus and online.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging online courses covering financial risk, project management, quality assurance, engineering economy, and industrial distribution.
  • Develop syllabi, select instructional materials, design assessments, and evaluate student performance.
  • Provide academic support through office hours, feedback, and mentoring, and serve as a Campus Security Authority.

Required profile

  • PhD in Industrial or Systems Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of graduate‑level instruction in engineering management topics.
  • Ability to incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies.
