Adjunct Faculty – Practical Nursing (Georgia)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Practical Nursing. This position combines classroom instruction with clinical supervision, supporting the development of future nursing professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet state, institutional, and accreditation standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on clinical and theoretical competencies.
• Maintain classroom and clinical supplies, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation for accreditation and state licensing.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and other educators on instructional programs and related issues.

Required profile

• Active Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of full‑time, recent experience in education, business, industry, or military settings.
• Professional credentials related to LPN instruction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
