About the role

The Department of Counseling and Psychology at Texas A&M University‑Central Texas seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach graduate courses in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. Teaching assignments are semester‑by‑semester and may be delivered in‑person or online.

Key responsibilities

Deliver graduate‑level instruction in marriage and family therapy, adhering to the curriculum and academic standards.
Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments, and evaluate student performance.
Maintain professional and scholarly standards comparable to full‑time faculty in the same discipline.

Required profile

Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
Demonstrated professional identity in MFT (e.g., membership in professional associations, research, clinical practice).
Experience teaching or supervising graduate students is essential.

Required skills

Knowledge of clinical practice and instruction related to marriage and family therapy.
Ability to employ innovative teaching methods for graduate education.
