Adjunct Faculty – Computer Science, Cybersecurity & Cyber Engineering

About the role

The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio is seeking full‑time or part‑time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology for the Fall 2026 semester. Most classes are delivered in person, with a limited number offered online.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lecture and laboratory instruction for assigned courses, both on‑campus and online.
• Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters.
• Collaborate with full‑time faculty and staff to maintain curriculum quality.

Required profile

• Earned Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering Technology, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant discipline.
• Teaching experience in lecture and computer‑based labs or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
