Adjunct Faculty – Computer Science, Cybersecurity & Cyber Engineering

About the role

The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio seeks full‑time or part‑time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology for the Fall 2026 semester.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology.
• Deliver lectures and supervise computer‑based laboratory sessions, both in‑person and online (synchronous or asynchronous).
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with department standards.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students, and respond to their queries.

Required profile

• Earned Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant discipline.
• Experience teaching lectures and computer labs or relevant industry experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering concepts.
• Ability to use instructional technology for both classroom and online delivery.
