Adjunct Faculty (Clinical Workforce)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks qualified medical professionals to serve as Adjunct Faculty within its Clinical Workforce (CW) program. This academic affiliate position supports education, research, and clinical activities on a case‑by‑case basis.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director or Division of MSE to define teaching and clinical duties.
• Provide instruction, mentorship, or supervision to students and residents as assigned.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development when required.
• Maintain compliance with UAMS policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree.
• Active Arkansas medical license.
• Board certification (preferred) or equivalent qualifying experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
