Adjunct Faculty, Allied Health Science (Part‑time)

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Southern Crescent Technical College, seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor for Allied Health Science. This position involves both teaching and non‑teaching activities, requiring flexibility and classroom engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with state, institutional, and accrediting standards.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain documentation for accreditation and licensing.
• Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and other educators on instructional programs.

Required profile

• Diploma (minimum) or Associate’s degree in nursing or a related health science field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Three years of relevant work experience within the past seven years.
• Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level is preferred.
• Active participation in professional organizations and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Banner software.
• Experience using Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
