Adjunct English Instructor (Semester Position)

About the role
The Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach English courses for the upcoming semester. This part‑time, fixed‑term role involves delivering two specific courses, maintaining student records, and supporting learners on campus.
Key responsibilities
- Teach English courses EH123 D1 and EH243 D1 in accordance with the catalog description and syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with course objectives.
- Maintain accurate student records, including grades and attendance.
- Provide office hours and respond to student inquiries to facilitate learning.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in education, English, literature, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching at the college or university level.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver course content effectively and assess student performance.
