Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer

About the role

Moog’s Additive Manufacturing Center is expanding its metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) capabilities for critical aerospace and space hardware. As an Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer you will lead the development and production of LPBF components, owning product and process lifecycles from concept through continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for metal LPBF development and production programs.
• Own assigned products and processes, ensuring readiness for production and delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, planning, supply chain, and program teams.
• Develop work instructions, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support post‑processing, heat‑treatment, fixturing, and inspection activities.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, product, process, or project engineering.
• Proven ability to make timely technical decisions and manage cost, schedule, quality, and product integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
