Addictions Counselor – Residential Treatment (Part‑Time)

About the role

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Center seeks a part‑time Addictions Counselor to deliver therapeutic services across three residential treatment locations in Baltimore. The role involves daily client sessions, group facilitation, and close collaboration with supervisors to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based care.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate low‑intensity residential group sessions for up to 32 clients per day, documenting each session in ICANotes with appropriate coding.
• Conduct telehealth intake, initial, and follow‑up sessions using CPT codes H0001 and 90791, as assigned.
• Provide in‑person individual sessions for designated clients and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Participate in weekly check‑ins with the Counseling Supervisor and coordinate with the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in addiction counseling.
• Valid Maryland licensure (e.g., LCADC, LCPC, LCSW‑C, etc.).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ICANotes electronic health record system.
• Knowledge of telehealth coding (H0001, 90791) and group session coding (W7310 + RESRB).
