Actuarial Intern - Life (Summer 2027)

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Actuarial Practice offers a summer 2027 internship focused on life, annuity and long-term care work, covering pricing, valuation and actuarial model transformation. The internship takes place in Atlanta or Seattle and includes a six-week actuarial bootcamp of presentations, case studies and mentorship. Only the Life internship application is accepted.

Key responsibilities

• Support actuarial modeling and analysis for valuation, pricing and financial projections
• Assist with data analysis, assumption reviews and sensitivity testing
• Research industry trends and emerging topics to support client engagements
• Prepare analyses, exhibits and presentation materials for internal and client discussions
• Take part in projects such as product development and pricing, assumption setting and model methodology review, M&A due diligence, model transformation, cloud implementation and actuarial software projects

Required profile

• Permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available and CPT/OPT are considered restricted
• Preference for one of the available office locations: Atlanta, Chicago or Seattle
