Acquisition Manager – Engineering Services (Mobility/Automotive)

About the role

As an Acquisition Manager you will expand Bosch Engineering’s footprint with innovative mobility and automotive companies. You will identify, develop and secure new engineering service projects, working closely with internal experts and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Bosch Engineering’s services portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, niche OEMs and technology‑driven mobility firms.
• Develop acquisition strategies, prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Engage with engineering, purchasing and executive stakeholders to understand technical challenges and translate them into service solutions.
• Collaborate with Bosch technical experts to shape solutions and support proposal development.
• Monitor automotive and mobility technology trends, especially in electrification, automated driving, safety systems and software‑defined vehicles.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally for customer meetings, industry events and project activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or customer acquisition within engineering, mobility or automotive sectors.
• Strong understanding of vehicle technologies and emerging trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and commercial teams.
