Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Join BETA Technologies as an Accounts Payable Specialist and help keep the financial engine of a fast‑growing electric aviation company running smoothly. You will process invoices, support vendors, manage expense reporting, and reconcile accounts while improving related systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, statements, payments and expenditures accurately and on time.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances.
• Partner with Supply Chain to match receipts and resolve open purchase orders.
• Review employee expense reports and communicate exceptions for timely resolution.
• Respond to vendor inquiries, ensure prompt payment and follow up on outstanding credits.
• Maintain organized financial records and prepare account analyses and monthly reports as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Up to two years of experience in accounts payable, expense reporting or similar accounting support role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with clear professional communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with accounting, expense‑reporting or AP software.
