Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function, drive process improvements, and ensure operational excellence across multiple entities. The role combines day‑to‑day AP oversight with strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, system implementations, and finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Finance, and operational leaders to provide AP expertise and support finance initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP professionals, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full AP lifecycle: invoice processing, coding, approvals, payments, and vendor management.
• Manage AP operations across multiple legal entities, ensuring consistent processes and compliance.
• Maintain internal controls, monitor AP aging, cash flow, and vendor relationships.
• Administer and optimize AP systems, including NetSuite and Ramp, ensuring accurate configurations.
• Develop KPIs, reporting, and identify automation opportunities to improve scalability.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.
• Located in the greater Tampa area and able to collaborate in‑person weekly.
