Finance Systems Integration Engineer

About the role

The Finance Systems Integration Engineer will ensure seamless integration of accounting functions for new partner organizations within Shield Technology Partners' portfolio. This role supports the "Shield playbook" by delivering consistent, operationally excellent system alignment across acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and PSA tools (Autotask, ConnectWise Manage, HaloPSA) to automate billing and procurement workflows.
• Build, deploy, and support SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteLet/RestLet automations.
• Maintain integration frameworks using Catalyst and custom API code, monitoring and troubleshooting data‑sync errors.
• Configure and administer NetSuite modules for billing, invoicing, and purchasing, managing user roles and internal controls.
• Support data migration and transformation during partner onboarding and oversee release updates.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for recurring billing, PO automation, and reconciliation.
• Serve as liaison between accounting, systems, and MSP partner teams, providing documentation, training, and coordinating testing with U.S. and India‑based teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined NetSuite administration and accounting systems integration experience.
• Proven experience developing SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteFlow automations.
• Exposure to accounting operations such as billing, invoicing, and purchasing.
