Accounting Manager (Hybrid) – $130K‑$140K + Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and drive the monthly close across multiple entities. This hybrid role blends technical execution with people leadership, offering the chance to build scalable processes in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for several entities.
• Own and manage the monthly and annual close, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Review financial results for accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance.
• Manage revenue recognition, expense allocations, and high‑volume transaction processing.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 accounting professionals while remaining hands‑on.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to resolve accounting issues and improve data quality.
• Serve as primary contact for external audits and audit response preparation.
• Support ERP and SaaS systems, drive reporting enhancements, and lead automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in a multi‑entity environment with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams while staying hands‑on (player‑coach).
• Experience building processes, procedures, and internal controls.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of financial close processes.
