Accountant & Credit Management Officer

About the role

ATR is seeking an Accountant & Credit Management Officer to join its Finance Directorate in Miami. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide both accounting and credit‑management support, ensuring accurate financial processing while managing credit risk for the customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices, verify payments and schedule vendor disbursements.
• Analyze expenses, allocate them to appropriate cost centres and monitor discount opportunities.
• Maintain accurate accounting ledgers, perform month‑end closing tasks and report sales taxes.
• Improve payment processes, particularly within the SAP cockpit environment.
• Post incoming customer payments, generate monthly account statements and reconcile customer accounts.
• Update approved credit lines and payment terms in SAP, monitor credit exposure and release customer orders based on risk assessments.
• Liaise with customers and commercial teams to communicate credit limits and mitigate financial risk.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and credit‑management practices.
• Attention to detail with a focus on compliance to ATR Group credit policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (especially the cockpit module).
