Account Specialist

About the role

Vallen is seeking an Account Specialist to drive sales and expand solutions, products, and services within assigned Integrated Supply accounts. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver value‑added propositions that align with Vallen’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Build rapport with customers, assess needs, and propose new products, processes, and services.
• Lead the development cycle from concept to implementation, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements.
• Achieve cost‑saving commitments and capture results in Vallen VPP or customer ERP systems.
• Design and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed contractual obligations.
• Monitor, report, and act on KPI activities and commitments.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to support solution‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within supply‑chain or integrated‑supply environments.
• Strong ability to build relationships and understand customer business challenges.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales, margin, and profitability targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
