Account Manager – SaaS Expansion & Retention

About the role
CXT Software is seeking a results‑driven Account Manager to own and grow a $5M‑$10M+ portfolio of mid‑market SaaS customers. You will be directly responsible for Net Revenue Retention (NRR), driving expansion, renewals and customer outcomes while shaping the Account Management function from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Own NRR for your book of business and meet expansion, renewal and retention targets.
- Identify, progress and close up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy expansion pipeline (3‑4x coverage) against quota.
- Proactively manage renewal cycles, flag at‑risk accounts early and execute recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in the CRM and communicate risks.
- Lead commercial conversations with customers on pricing, renewals and contract changes.
- Partner with Product, Support and Services to deliver outcomes and resolve issues.
- Contribute to defining playbooks, processes and best practices for the AM function.
Required profile
- 4‑8+ years of experience in mid‑market SaaS Account Management, Customer Success or Sales.
- Proven track record of independently identifying and closing expansion opportunities.
- Experience owning revenue targets such as NRR, expansion or renewals.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
