Account Manager, Personal Lines Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Account Manager for its Personal Lines team. The role focuses on growing and managing private client accounts while meeting monthly and annual production goals. The position is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage private client accounts and meet monthly and annual production goals
• Mentor associates on the team and act as advisor and consultant to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance coverages with at least 3 years' experience in the insurance industry
• P&C insurance license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship now or in the future
• Preferred: associate's or bachelor's degree

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Word skills
• Customer service, time management, organization and attention to detail
