Account Manager – Low & Medium Voltage Solutions

About the role

ABB is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of low and medium voltage products, solutions, and services across the Baton Rouge, LA trade area. You will work within the Industry, Buildings & Channel (IBC) strategy, building long‑term relationships with contractors, distributors, consultants and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products, systems and services to meet volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned business units.
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships to understand needs and promote ABB’s full portfolio.
• Prepare sales plans, conduct status reviews and propose recovery actions for potential order shortfalls.
• Collaborate across business lines to leverage ABB’s complete product range.
• Create offers in line with customer contract documents, working with proposal, factory and pricing teams.

Required profile

• BS degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum two years of sales experience in the electrical industry, preferably in commercial, industrial or multi‑family markets.
• Ability to travel throughout Baton Rouge and Southern Louisiana as needed.
• Legal work authorization for the United States.
