Account Manager

About the role

Rent-A-Center is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Account Managers. In this position you will manage rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and support sales growth while maintaining store standards and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of rental accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early‑stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection targets.
• Complete delivery and pickup routes, install merchandise, and handle white‑glove service in‑store, over the phone, and at customers’ homes.
• Drive sales growth by generating new rental agreements and promoting additional products.
• Maintain showroom standards, company vehicles, and adhere to all safety and operational policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Physical ability to lift heavy merchandise, stand for long periods, and drive a box truck.
