Account Manager – Industrial Coatings & Services

About the role

The Account Manager will drive growth for a leading industrial coatings distributor in South/Central Louisiana. You will sell both coating products and installation services to petrochemical, downstream oil & gas, and large commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities across key industrial markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts in the petrochemical, downstream oil & gas, and large commercial sectors.
• Promote industrial coating and repair products as well as installation services to a wide range of clients.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
• Utilize CRM and digital tools to manage accounts and track sales performance.
• Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of proven sales experience in industrial markets or related fields.
• Strong network of industry contacts within South Louisiana.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Experience selling installation services or industrial maintenance products is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
• Ability to pass background checks for entry into industrial and refinery facilities along the Gulf Coast.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems to manage accounts and track performance.
