Account Manager – Commercial Insurance (Remote/Eastern & Central)

About the role

The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, focusing on construction and real‑estate clients. You will ensure client retention, support new business opportunities, and coordinate daily administrative and service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Lead the account management team’s daily activities.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations, renewals, and the renewal submission process.
• Monitor accounts receivable, collect delinquent balances, and ensure data accuracy in agency management systems.
• Provide transparent communication on workload status and proactively address issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active insurance licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
