Account Executive – Remote (US)

About the role

Paved is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive growth by connecting brands with engaged audiences through its premium newsletter advertising marketplace. This fully remote position is open to candidates across the United States, with a preference for those in the New York tri‑state area for occasional in‑person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal/RFP response, negotiation, and closing.
• Generate pipeline through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, and strategic partner relationships.
• Craft consultative pitches that align advertiser objectives with Paved solutions (newsletter sponsorships, dedicated sends, ad network) and define clear measurement plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Ad Ops, Publisher, Marketing) on pricing, packaging, and campaign setup.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM updates, providing weekly status reports.
• Use advertiser KPIs (CTR, CVR, CPA/CPL, ROAS, reach/frequency, CAC/LTV) to demonstrate value and drive renewal/expansion conversations.
• Collect market feedback and share insights to refine product positioning and go‑to‑market strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑cycle sales in advertising or media.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with brand‑direct and agency accounts.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑moving, low‑structure environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
