Account Executive – Public Sector

About the role

Content Guru is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive sales in the public sector across the United States. The role involves full‑cycle selling, building relationships with government stakeholders, and navigating complex procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while developing strategic account plans for public sector clients.
• Lead RFP responses, coordinate virtual bid teams, and manage opportunities through the government procurement lifecycle.
• Build long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers, present tailored solutions, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, CRM records, and deliver product demonstrations of the storm® platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including 2 years selling to US public sector agencies.
• Proven track record of closing complex deals and meeting revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and ability to work with senior public sector executives.
• US citizenship required due to FedRAMP High certification.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
• Consultative selling, negotiation, and account planning.
• Understanding of SaaS, cloud, or IT services solutions.
