Account Executive III – Group Health Insurance

About the role

HCSC is hiring an Account Executive III to drive continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs and providing customer support. The position requires the ability to travel.

Required profile

• State insurance license as a General Lines Agent covering Life, Health and HMO.
• Either 6 years as a group health insurance account executive, or 4 years as a group health insurance account executive plus 2 years in claims, customer service or managed health care in a role requiring self-direction, initiative and decision making, or a bachelor's degree plus 4 years as a group health insurance account executive.
• Experience with complex accounts and addressing customer needs while building strong customer relations.
• Experience analyzing reports and financial information, with analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO), funding types (FI, ASO and TPA) and related processes and trends.
• Written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.

What we offer

• Base pay range of $76,000 to $113,900, varying with skills, experience and location.
• The role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to its terms and conditions.
