Academic Faculty/Physician - Department of Radiology

About the role

The Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health is seeking candidates for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor positions in the clinician educator track or the clinician scholar track, across multiple subspecialty sections. The department provides clinical services for the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neurosciences, as well as outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and academic positions are also available at Jefferson Einstein and Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital sites.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray examinations.
• Provide accurate and timely radiological assessments and detailed reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain proficiency in the latest radiological techniques, technologies and protocols.
• Teach daily clinical supervision, supervise residents and fellows during readouts and conferences, and take part in interdisciplinary conferences; teaching of medical students is limited to those rotating through the department.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of an accredited radiology residency.
• Appropriate licenses and certifications.
