3rd Shift Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor ensures employee safety, product quality and asset performance while delivering the shift production plan on time. The role leads a team of 20‑30 employees on the 3rd (night) shift, focusing on key performance metrics and fostering a sustainable, engaged work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach the team on GMP, equipment, safety procedures and standards to maintain stable manufacturing performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment, conduct sanitation audits, food safety checks and product quality inspections.
• Facilitate daily operation reviews, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure cross‑training, timely new‑product launches and optimal equipment performance through maintenance coordination.
• Promote the use of digital technologies to optimize line processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or a leadership role in the U.S. Military.
• Experience in food processing or packaging, quality, safety and continuous‑improvement environments.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting through root‑cause problem solving.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
