ACCEL Schools is seeking a passionate 2nd Grade Teacher to join Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio. You will deliver a rigorous, research‑based curriculum while fostering a supportive, socially‑emotional classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.
• Differentiate instruction and use research‑based best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Integrate technology to enhance instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Participate in non‑instructional activities and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and supervise students in various settings.
• Willingness to work in a growth‑focused coaching environment.
• Pass a federal and state background check.
