About the role
Pleasanton Unified School District is seeking a dedicated 1st Grade teacher for a full‑time (1.0 FTE) position at Alisal Elementary School. The successful candidate will join a supportive community focused on high‑quality elementary education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver instruction to 1st grade students in accordance with district curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and families.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Required profile
- Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
- Bachelor's degree (transcript required).
- Post‑graduate coursework documentation, if applicable.
- Letter of introduction and current resume.

Required skills
