Workplace Experience Coordinator

About the role

The Workplace Experience Coordinator will create a seamless, engaging, and efficient workplace experience at Checkout.com’s San Francisco office. This hybrid role (minimum three days onsite) ensures smooth office operations, budget management, and employee connection through well‑planned events and programs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations, acting as the primary point of contact for guests, employees, and vendors.
• Manage space planning, seating arrangements, and meeting‑room systems to support a hybrid work model.
• Own access protocols, badge management, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate vendor relationships for janitorial, food & beverage, and maintenance services.
• Plan and execute a diverse calendar of in‑person and virtual events, aligning with global office activities.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or facilities management, preferably in a fast‑growing, multi‑office environment.
• Experience managing budgets, processing invoices, and negotiating with vendors.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to partner across People, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with workplace tools such as ZIP, BREX, Coupa, Brivo, Sharebite, Google Workspace, and Workday.
• Ability to handle physical tasks like setting up meeting rooms, moving supplies, and supporting on‑site operational needs.
