About the role
Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist II to join its Workers Compensation team. This fully remote position focuses on Maryland workers compensation claims and offers the chance to impact claim outcomes for a leading insurer.
Key responsibilities
- Document claim files, capture and update data for moderate to high exposure commercial line claims.
- Determine liability, policy coverage, and develop case strategies to achieve timely resolutions.
- Establish reserves, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in claims or litigation management, or equivalent experience with required adjuster license.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products, plus strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Valid claims adjuster license
