Wire Harness Technician – Autonomous Vessel Production

About the role

Saronic Technologies is developing autonomous surface vessels for the Department of Defense. We are looking for a motivated Wire Harness Technician with mechanical experience to join our Austin team and ensure the electrical systems of our vessels meet the highest quality and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, route, and install wire harnesses according to engineering schematics and specifications.
• Integrate harnesses with propulsion, sensor, and communication components in collaboration with mechanical engineers.
• Perform thorough inspections of completed assemblies to verify accuracy, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly and testing phases.
• Document assembly procedures, modifications, and test results for continuous improvement.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• Previous experience in wire harness assembly or a similar manufacturing/engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
