Window Installer (1099)

About the role

We are looking for experienced 1099 Window Installers to join Mad City Windows, a Renuity company, installing home remodeling products across the Pittsburgh area. You will work directly with homeowners to ensure high‑quality window installations and finish work.

Key responsibilities

• Install residential pocket and replacement windows according to company standards.
• Perform metal bending and exterior window wrapping as needed.
• Apply finish work and complete job checklists with homeowners.
• Communicate with management after each installation to confirm customer satisfaction and authorize final payments.
• Treat each homeowner and their property with respect and professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of residential pocket/replacement windows.
• Established LLC or business with worker’s compensation and liability insurance.
• Own a truck, van or trailer and necessary tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
