Weekend Household Manager & Family Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Weekend Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our active family of five in Denver and our second home in Vail. The role focuses on weekend childcare, household organization, and occasional travel, offering 25–30 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Primary caregiver for an infant on weekends, including feeding, nap coverage, and age‑appropriate activities.
• Backup childcare for school‑age children, pickups, drop‑offs, and date‑night coverage.
• Manage household organization: daily resets of kitchen, family room, mudroom, seasonal clothing, and guest prep.
• Oversee laundry and linen care, including delicate garment ironing and steaming.
• Handle meal support: grocery shopping, fridge reset, batch cooking for kids, and coordination with the family chef.
• Maintain inventory, restock pantry, manage subscriptions, and coordinate returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks and seasonal projects such as garage and mudroom organization.
• Take care of vehicle upkeep: fueling, scheduling maintenance, and keeping the car travel‑ready.
• Liaise with cleaners, contractors, and Vail support to ensure continuity across residences.
• Assist with travel planning, calendar management, and event coordination as needed.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented individual who takes ownership without being asked.
• Calm under pressure, able to shift between infant care and household management seamlessly.
• Experienced with infant and toddler care and strong laundry/garment skills.
• Punctual, clear communicator with reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel to Vail on select weekends.
