Web Production Specialist
Olly Olly · Bogota
Job description
About the role
Olly Olly is looking for a Web Production Specialist to turn strategic briefs and approved copy into visually compelling web pages. The role focuses on design execution: choosing or enhancing imagery, building layouts that guide visitors toward conversion, and making minor copy tweaks that improve the UI. It suits someone who understands how copy, typography and visual design work together.
Key responsibilities
- Build and style service pages, city landing pages and web content using provided copy and strategic direction.
- Select the best client photos, enhance them with AI tools (e.g. Gemini) or source imagery that does not look like generic stock photos.
- Create visual hierarchy that leads visitors naturally toward CTAs.
- Make minor copy adjustments to tighten headlines, break up text blocks and adjust character counts for better layout.
- Implement clear CTAs, scannable content, trust signals, whitespace and mobile-responsive layouts.
- Maintain visual consistency while adapting the design style to each client's industry and personality.
- Run thorough visual QA before handoff and work with Onboarding Specialists to turn strategic recommendations into visual results.
Required profile
- 1-2 years of experience in web design or digital marketing, with a portfolio showing real aesthetic judgment.
- Professional-level image editing and file formatting, including understanding of file types and web optimization.
- Understanding of how typography, character count and text layout affect visual hierarchy and UX, and ability to make minor copy tweaks.
- Basic SEO understanding (title tags, headers, meta descriptions) so design choices do not break technical requirements.
- Ability to work within structured timelines and maintain design standards.
Required skills
- High-level WordPress, including the Gutenberg block editor and page builders such as Elementor or WP Bakery.
- Working knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- AI image enhancement tools such as Canva, Photoshop and Gemini.
- Pluses: basic HTML/CSS, formal graphic design or UX/UI training, A/B testing or conversion optimization experience, photography or videography skills, agency experience, accessibility and responsive design knowledge.
What we offer
- Pay of $600 USD per month.
- 100% remote work, with core collaboration hours 8 AM - 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
- 15 vacation days plus U.S. holidays.
