Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

Esri is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer in Redlands to join its creative team and produce portfolio-worthy work, including print and digital collateral, advertising, motion graphics, presentations, illustrations and promotional items. The designer works closely with executives to understand their goals, collaborates with fellow creatives and leads projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts and designs for print, web, events, social media and other channels
• Work with stakeholders across Esri to turn business needs and organizational goals into effective visual narratives
• Set and oversee the visual style, imagery and storytelling for key projects from concept through delivery
• Use knowledge of the Esri brand and current design practices to improve brand consistency and visual quality
• Mentor junior designers and lead projects while ensuring quality, brand consistency and alignment with project goals

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a similar field
• Demonstrated experience turning business objectives into visual concepts and narratives
• Experience presenting creative concepts to senior stakeholders
• Visa sponsorship not available; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects
• Layout, composition, typography and color theory
• Interpreting diagrams and infographics
• Communication, presentation, stakeholder management and time management

Preferred: art direction experience, brand system management, illustration, photography or cartography, and familiarity with emerging design technologies and AI-assisted tools. The estimated base salary range is $79,352-$125,632 USD, with health, dental, vision, 401(k) and profit-sharing benefits, 80 hours of vacation and 12 paid holidays.
