Web Developer – Shopify & E‑commerce Specialist

About the role

DTLR, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Web Developer with strong front‑end and back‑end expertise to enhance and maintain its e‑commerce platform. You will translate business needs into client‑friendly functions that expand the website’s influence in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the Shopify‑based e‑commerce website and related email campaigns.
• Integrate third‑party applications and REST APIs with the site.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to implement Adobe designs, promotions, and analytics events.
• Scope, design, and deliver internal software projects based on departmental requirements.
• Conduct usability testing and ensure ADA compliance and responsive design across devices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Shopify platform (themes, discounts, CLI, plugins, sales channels)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS, Liquid, jQuery
• Git version control and Jira ticketing
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD
• REST API integration and ADA compliance
• Responsive design implementation
• E‑commerce experience, Shopify GraphQL, Shopify app development (Remix, Polaris, React, Preact, Rust)
• Claude or other AI platforms, Klaviyo, SEO optimization, Google Analytics
• MySQL or similar database knowledge
