Warranty Litigation Counsel (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Warranty Litigation Counsel to manage a national portfolio of warranty disputes. This 12‑month contract role is based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid schedule requiring 2‑3 days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a large portfolio of warranty litigation cases across the United States.
• Collaborate with outside counsel, reviewing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Aggregate cost data to devise cost‑effective litigation management approaches.
• Work with client dealerships to complete final repair attempts and gather documentation for breach‑of‑warranty evaluations.
• Represent the client in court, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials nationwide.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one state.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably focused on warranty matters.
• Strong understanding of warranty and lemon laws.
• Ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Self‑starter with a collaborative team mindset.

Required skills

• Substantive legal knowledge of warranty and lemon statutes.
• Proficiency in legal research.
