Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator – Appalachia Hub

About the role

Footprint Project is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to manage its Appalachian hub. You will maintain the Mars Hill warehouse, oversee a renewable‑energy fleet, and coordinate shipments and procurement across the U.S., especially during disaster response seasons.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of sustainable response technologies and ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of renewable‑energy assets and oversee fleet inventory, quality assurance, and logistics.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, liaise with vendors, and track assets nationwide.
• Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, vehicles, and trailers; ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop operational procedures, train staff, and analyze logistics data to improve productivity and loss prevention.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, fleet management, or logistics environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly.
• High school diploma or equivalent; basic math and computer skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking, decision‑making, and communication abilities.
• Interest in sustainable disaster response and clean‑energy initiatives.
