Warehouse 640 Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse 640 Operator to join our state-of-the-art cheese and whey production facility in St. Johns, MI. The successful candidate will operate a range of warehouse equipment, receive, store and distribute product, and ensure compliance with safety and food-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and ship cheese and whey products using 40 lb and 640 lb pallets and containers.
• Operate the 40 lb robot, small and large forklifts, and perform racking, stacking and consolidation tasks.
• Label and relabel products for domestic and export shipments, following customer specifications.
• Execute SAP functions such as re‑printing pick tickets and creating transfer orders.
• Manage dispatch, driver check‑in/out and maintain accurate records in accordance with GMP and local regulations.
• Follow OSHA, SQF, FDA and Pasteurized Milk Ordinance requirements at all times.

Required profile

• Fewer than three attendance points and not currently on a Performance Improvement Plan.
• No corrective actions related to safety or performance in the past 12 months.
• Commitment to occupational safety, food‑safety regulations and company non‑negotiables.

Required skills

• Operation of 40 lb robot and both small and large forklifts.
• Knowledge of heat‑treated pallets, CHEP pallets and 40 lb/640 lb material codes.
• Experience with pallet racking, stacking, labeling and relabeling.
• Basic SAP transaction skills (pick ticket re‑print, transfer order creation).
• Understanding of OSHA, SQF, FDA and Pasteurized Milk Ordinance compliance.
