VP/Director of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on finance leader to drive financial planning, performance reporting, and capital strategy. The role combines analytical insight with executive partnership to support growth and improve financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and oversee short‑ and long‑term forecasting.
• Build and maintain financial models and executive dashboards that provide visibility into performance trends.
• Monitor results against budgets and strategic goals, presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and uphold strong internal controls.
• Develop and manage relationships with commercial banks, investment partners, and other financial institutions.
• Advise leadership on capital allocation, investment strategies, and funding decisions.
• Partner with department heads to align financial planning with business opportunities.
• Oversee insurance programs and risk‑management activities.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high‑performing finance team.
• Direct budgeting, reporting, cash‑flow analysis, and month‑end close processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance leadership experience at Director, VP, or equivalent senior level.
• Strong background in annual budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to create dashboards and translate data into clear executive insights.
• Knowledge of state and federal compliance requirements and internal‑control best practices.
• Experience building productive relationships with banks and external financial partners.
• Demonstrated success leading, developing, and retaining finance professionals in a fast‑paced environment.
