VP, Analytics (Life Sciences)

About the role

MERGE is seeking a Vice President of Analytics to lead its life sciences measurement and analytics portfolio. You will shape how marketing impact is measured for health and wellness brands, mentor a high‑performing team, and drive innovative analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set priorities across accounts, resolve delivery and resourcing conflicts, and manage risks.
• Build and mentor self‑directed teams, developing future leaders and maintaining high standards for measurement plans, KPIs, testing agendas, tagging, data quality, and dashboard QA.
• Advise senior clients by translating complex evidence into clear, commercially grounded insights and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with account, creative, media, strategy, and technology teams to connect programs to brand, HCP, and patient outcomes.
• Navigate data ecosystems, ensuring compliance with privacy, consent, MLR, and HIPAA requirements.
• Apply AI and automation to modernize analytics workflows and improve speed and clarity.
• Lead analytics strategy in major pitch pursuits, RFPs, and strategic partnership development.

Required profile

• 12+ years of agency or client‑side measurement and analytics experience, managing complex portfolios and high‑performing teams.
• Deep expertise in life sciences marketing, including HCP, patient/DTC, and exposure to payer or provider dynamics.
• Strong analytical mindset with mastery of cross‑channel measurement, incrementality, testing, attribution, and AI‑driven workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear stories for senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (advanced degree preferred) and a growth‑mindset, collaborative leadership style.
