About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Visiting Student to join the Autumn Hand Therapy program. This short‑term position provides hands‑on clinical experience in hand therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in hand therapy sessions.
- Assist the supervising OT with treatment planning and documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Required profile
- Enrolled in an affiliated graduate program related to occupational therapy or hand therapy.
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved exemption.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of hand therapy techniques.
- Ability to follow clinical supervision and guidelines.
