Vice President of Operations – Western & Midwestern US

About the role

A.C.Coy is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to lead warehousing, fleet, and service delivery across the Western and Midwestern United States. This senior leader will travel extensively, spending nights on the road to oversee regional sites and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational and commercial strategies for multiple territories, aligning with corporate goals.
• Manage P&L for half of the U.S., overseeing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Lead a team of 4 Territory Directors, 75+ Branch and Hub Managers, and 400‑600 associates.
• Drive process improvements, compliance, and best‑practice implementation to boost efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with senior executives across Sales, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain to align territory operations with strategic vision.
• Analyze operational data to develop KPI metrics and support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• 15+ years of multi‑site or territory operations experience, preferably in distribution, logistics, or supply‑chain services.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and drive performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience building customer relationships from small businesses to national accounts.
