Vice President of Operations

About the role

GCM Grosvenor, a global alternative asset manager, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead day‑to‑day operational activities and drive strategic initiatives across its worldwide business. This full‑time remote position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational functions and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Manage profit and loss statements, monitor financial performance, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Lead strategic planning and execution of major projects to support growth targets.
• Establish and maintain high standards of customer service throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across global offices to drive efficiency and innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operational leadership roles.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and work across functional departments.
• Experience in alternative asset management or financial services is a plus.
