Director, Revenue Controls

About the role

The Director, Revenue Controls will lead a team responsible for testing and validating revenue controls across Mastercard's Global Business Solutions Center. This senior position partners with audit, risk, and business leaders to ensure control effectiveness and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Revenue Controls team in executing control testing procedures, including observation, evidence review, and re‑performance.
• Serve as the point of contact for audit queries from Internal Audit, SOX, SOC, and external audit partners.
• Identify high‑risk issues, develop recommendations, and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide risk reporting, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and governance updates.
• Advise on process, system, and project testing plans to assess system integrity and control effectiveness.
• Guide business owners in root‑cause analysis, control deficiency monitoring, and issue remediation.
• Collaborate with risk management leaders and cross‑functional teams to align enterprise and operational risk frameworks.
• Coordinate development of SOPs, desktop procedures, and process flows.

Required profile

• Extensive risk management experience in a large multinational service organization.
• Strong knowledge of risk management practices such as ERM, ORM, and TRM.
• Proven background in audit, operational risk, or related risk management functions.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, including SOX and SOC controls.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Finance background and experience with transformation, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in ambiguous environments.
• People‑management experience is desired.
