Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our small, high‑impact accounting team. The role demands a self‑starter who can own their area, work with minimal supervision, and proactively improve accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including complex and non‑routine transactions.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Drive the month‑end close process in a fast‑paced environment.
• Apply capitalization policies and manage fixed‑asset tracking.
• Support or lead ERP/NetSuite implementations and optimizations.
• Maintain and improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation to ensure audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, including fixed assets and reserves.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar ERP system) experience.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP system implementations or enhancements.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills for issue identification and root‑cause analysis.
