Vice President of Operations

About the role

Mane Haircare is looking for a hands‑on, collaborative Vice President of Operations to lead and scale its end‑to‑end operations organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Product Development Operations, Logistics, Fulfillment, and Project Management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end supply chain functions including demand & supply planning, procurement, contract manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment and inventory management.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization, cross‑functional collaboration and KPI ownership (forecast accuracy, fill rate, OTIF, inventory health, margin improvement, cost savings).
• Mentor and develop teams across Project Management, Product Development and Supply Chain, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, oversee supplier scorecards, and lead cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee operational execution of new product launches, reformulations, packaging updates and tech transfers, ensuring timely delivery and cross‑functional alignment.
• Maintain operational reporting, risk visibility and support finance, sales, marketing and customer experience teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain or logistics within a consumer‑goods or cosmetics environment.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a bias for execution in fast‑paced settings.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Track record of scaling operational processes and driving measurable performance improvements.
